Noisy, crowded, smoke filled places, where some people some times try to drink them self into a position of popularity. Where you can catch a disease turning on the sinks faucet, by sitting on the toilet seat, or grabbing the knob to flush the toilet?

Hey! Where's the Risk in Your life, kind of places?

I'd guess it is because you are, "Smart".

I'm 26 and I don't like going clubbing or getting drunk much now. I used to and would be really upset if I didn't go clubbing every saturday and get wasted. However, I have now grown up and become a mature responsible adult (yeah right) and it just doesn't interest me anymore.
I have a couple of friends though who have never been into the whole drinking and clubbing scene. One doesn't drink, he never has because of personal reasons, but he will come clubbing on occasion. The other will drink but always sensibly and very rarely went clubbing.

Not sure how old you are but if you're young and don't like clubs then perhaps it isn't your bag and you have other interests you'd rather spend your time on. It could be that you haven't found the kind of music you'd like to hear in a club or have been going to the wrong kind of clubs. Maybe you haven't find the right friends to go clubbing with. As for drinking, it's personal taste. There's absolutely nothing wrong with going out just for a couple of drinks or to go out and not drink at all.

How come you don't like going to clubs or drinking very much?
Well, it looks like it is just a personal preference.
Everything should be done in moderation. If you prefer not to drink then that is a good choice to make. A lot of people do not know when to stop drinking, especially those in their late teen and early twenties. You can see a lot of abuse, and alcohol poisoning. Be glad this is not you.
There is nothing wrong with you if you do not like to drink. Do not let friends pressure you into doing something you do not want to do anyway. Enjoy your life, have fun, and make good choices.
I would also suggest that you continue with your education so you know how to write a little better, you sound like a slave, back in the 1800s. I know you are better then that.

Because you're sensible and you know that you won't find good qauality people at a club or bar, you'll find only those who are drunk or drugged out of their minds at a club or bar. And you don't want or need that. The club and bar scene is a meat market.

Not everyone enjoy partying and that's fine.

Go to other places, lectures, museums, political rallies, environmental groups, church, whatever . Talk to people as well as listen, be friendly, be kind , be a gentleman and not a pig.

well according to a book i have -"what makes people tick?" in the section Party Animal - extroversion/introversion they write,

"its all down to the nervous system you were born with. The most stimulating thing for any human being's nervous system is another human being. So if you're born with a robust nervous system, people interaction will enervate you - you will be extravert. If you're born with a sensitive nervous system, people interaction will stress you - so you will be introvert.( The male gender tend to be have a more vulnerable nervous system and so men are more likely to be introvert) But biology isnt the only reason... your upbringing counts too."

It could just be that your more introvert whic doesn't mean your shy - thats a common misconception. It means you perfer smaller groups and quieter atmospheres!

noise, smoke, perphaps you're not a social person. The club scene isn't for everyone and not everyone has fun watching other people get drunk and be in a loud club.

Drinking too much is just bad all around. If you have strong christian beliefs it's not too surprising at all. It's not a bad thing so why complain about it?

There's nothing wrong with you. You just happen to be a more sensible person then some. Not everybody is into certain things. Maybe you don't see the purpose in doing some of those things.

1) Cuz its a waste of money. If I want to get drunk, I can do it at home for way less money.
2) Its dangerous to drink and drive.
3) Those places are always too loud and over crowded.
