I would say they are. They're not very durable. My friend was walking down the stairs at the mall and they ripped on the inside of the thigh. I have read several other stories that were similar. They're very cute, but really pricey. I would try BKE jeans or B2 from Buckle. They're less expensive yet still very cute and more durable.

I think they are over rated. it depends on your size. If you are really thin, no larger than a size 6, they look good. Anyone I've seen larger than 6 wear them looks weird. They are just cut really small and petite for short torso people. I normally wear a size 10 and I tried on their largest pair, a 32 and couldn't get them on. I don't understand where they design these. They do carry them at Lane Bryant as well for the larger sizes, and I've seen them on girls who look nice. So my advice is....pick a brand that fits your body and you look good in, no matter how much they cost. I really like this brand called Hydrollic. You can get them at Macy's and at Charlotte Russe. They have 3% spandex and give you a little stretch. They wash nice too.

NO! I love them and they fit me PERFECTLY! I got 9 pairs at Macy's. They were only $20

If you pay more than $40 a pair, they are overrated, period.
