What should I name my foal? Not sure if it's a colt or filly yet, so I need some names for both. I need show names or the names i'm gonna register it in. Bred from a white Paint mare, 14.3hh, named Hot Shot Frosty. Not sure of the sire. Unborn. Due in about a month. Any name suggestions?

Horse Names - Filly or Colt

Tiramasu - she looks like it! Yummy

Splashes

Oreo Cream

My Gosh

Cali

Pollyanna Leigh Childs
I believe a 'human' name would fit because she's one of the family already

Isabella! a lovely name for a lovely girl.

Definately name her Allison - I think it has a nice ring to it! (from Allison)

Bliss, because she seems so happy

Her markings look like the disney mouse ears logo turned 90 degrees toward her head so call her Minnie Mouse

Marabella or Bella or Marble

Nikka

GODIVA WOULD BE A GOOD NAME FOR A CHOCOLATE HORSE WITH CLASS

Zuri-pretty (in Swahili)

Jamala- Beauty (in Swahili)

Cecilly or Sadie

Flying Colors

Her spots look like spots of storm clouds so call her Solar Spots

Georgie or Georgie Girl

I see the image of an Indian head on her back call her Dawn Devotional

Camillia

Looks like vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, so Sundae or Choco. My son says she looks like a milkshake

Little beauty "Cappuccino" - she looks like a delicious blend of dark coffee and frothy milk

Nascita di maggio "Maggio" for short...:) It means May birth in Italian

How about "Swirly Girl" for that great chocolate swirl she has going on...

My son -in-law thinks that because of the short tail; Stubby would be a good name

All of these names are women of importance in history... so if you want to choose an uncommon name here are a few....

Curie, Joliot, Mairead, Shirin, Ottilia, Gabriela, Eumachia, Hetairai, and Livy

You could always use Dakota

Fan Dancer for the markings on her side, and her tail

Darkly Colored:

Chocolate Pollack (if a paint)

Black Ice

Lightly Colored:

Sorry that's the best I can do, but they're good names- any one of them I would use for my horse, depending on coloring.

What registry are you going to get papers in? Are both parents registered? Some restrict names to a certain number of letters and spaces.
