It is now apx. two inches around and still itches. Should I be worried that it is a recluse bite, or see a doctor? Any information is helpful, thanks! It could be an alergy?

when anything swells up you probably need to see a doctor. Are you sure its a bite? My b/f had a bump that was swollen and thought it was a bite, turned out to be staph infection. Which can infact kill you if not treated, also a brown recluse can too. You need to see a doctor as soon as possible....

I would recommend that you see a doctor as soon as possible. by the sounds of it you may have been bitten by a spider that injects a cytotoxic poison. This damages the tissue surrounding the bite and can grow into a really large ulcer. Secondary infection can set in.
I believe the Recluse Spider has a myotoxic venom which leads to paralysis

Yes u need to see a Doctor the are spider bites out there that can cause damage to u skin a muslces if not treated right away. u should go to your doctor and tell him what kind of spider it is so he can give u an anti cream.

Try to put apple cyder vinegar on area for every 30 mints than see what happened, also try to rub metal key on area. homeopathy is good.
