Girl, I ought to come through my laptop and smack you upside the head. You are of a perfectly healthy weight and do not need to lose any weight. And what makes you think that all models have to be skinny? Yes, I admit that most supermodels you see on the runways of Paris are tall and micro-thin, but how many normal people are like that? Not very many, I assure you. Any person can be a model. Someone has to model Plus size women's clothing. So who do they chose to do so? Paresian runway models? I think not. They chose people who would actually wear the clothes. That means hiring plus size women to wear the clothes so someone can take pictures of them that the companies can use to advertise the clothes they want to sell. And guess what they call the women that wear the clothes while they are being photographed? MODELS! But they aren't skinny, so they can't be models, right?, Wrong. No one ever said a model has to be someone skinny. And if you are trying to become a model and the people you want to work for tell you you aren't skinny enough and need to lose weight, tell them to shove their modeling job somewhere the sun doesn't shine. All they are doing is making you feel inadequate, and making all girls feel inadequate by creating a false image of beauty by telling girls they must be thin and gorgeous to be pretty. Don't change yourself. If they don't want you, it's their fault. Just be who you are.

Whatever you do, don't lose weight just to look as pretty as you think others expect you to. That is one of the worst things you could do in my opinion. But, if you are 5' 8" and only weigh 114lbs., you shouldn't be losing weight anyway. In fact I think that you are within the normal range for your height and age (if not leaning towards below average). Anyway, besides all that, are you getting recruited as a model or are you trying out to be one?

Well, obviously you are thin enough, but just be aware that you are still growing and developing into a young women. They tend to reject you as soon as you start to get your curves. I think the modelling industry is cold and superficial and if you can find something else to put your energy into that would be much more productive and beneficial in the long term.
Take care : )
