Every body has liked Harry Potter at one point, even if we don't addmitte it. Come on the lady has wrote some thing like 7 book. They just go on and on.
Ok now i'm sure your all saying but she the best author and it's the best seller. I just that she's just rambeling on about nothing. Plus you have to read the first one twice and remember it, so that you'll get the second one. Then once the third one came out you forgot what the second on was! and so one.
who's with me? down with Harry Potter?

The Harry Potter books is a brilliant series and there are many, many people who would kill to be able to write with half as much creativity as J.K. Rowling. The reason Harry Potter keeps going on and on is obviously due to the fact that the series is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I think pretty much the whole world has been introduced to the HP phenomenon and that alone speaks for itself.
There are only two kinds of people who read the HP books twice:
1. Totally devoted, enthralled fans of the series who just can't get enough or........
2. Someone too narrowminded and unimaginative to comprehend the books the first time.
No, I'm not with you. I love the Harry Potter series and I can't wait til July 21st so I can pick up my copy of the 7th book!!!!!!!!!

Harry Potter is not getting old. Especially in my school. Every week all the HP bks are checked out of our library. Everyone is reading them. Personally I love the series and I wish it wouldn't end, but I understand that it has to end somewhere. I read each book like two times a year some times. And also I'm excited b/c the movie and the book come out during the same month.

The books can be written and read over the course of say twenty years and the characters will only age as fast as the scenarios call for them to age. In the movies the actors age, so if they were going to really follow the scripts of the books they would make the movies as fast as the books come out and just parcel the movies out when the books start to fade. Then they would make just as much money as they would without having to use different actors in the starring roles. Daniel Radcliffe is aging too fast to really keep up with the books. And while on one hand while I do agree with your statement somewhat, I still think the completion of the series will be awaited by the hardcore with bated breath.

I think Harry Potter IS getting old. The 7th book is out and that is the last. I'm glad. I can't wait till all the movies are done. I am tired of Harry Potter and want a different series to enjoy.

I have to admit, I love reading Harry Potter. Really excellent books but people are making too much of a big deal. People actually cried when Dumbledore died. It's a work of fiction, people. Wow. Anyways, I can't wait till all this Harry Potter book dies down and a new series takes it's place. =)

But I still like Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling is my favorite author.

I am in love with Harry Potter and I am 18!!! This is her last book and we finally get to see what we have been wanting to know about He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named- and where Harry, Hermione and Ron all end up! If you only would read deeper into the book and reread you would see that she is not just "rambling on about nothing" it called a series and when you have one going you have to finish it. I not just something you can talk about all in one book and if f.y.i. she wrote the ending of the book before the started it. When you have an idea for a story you have to stick with it and if it is going to take you forever to write about go ahead and in the end everything will be in its place. I love to reread the series over and over again it gives you a fresh view at the book. So much has gone into making the books and when you think about it, it did not take long for them to make the movies and it will take years for them to do that but within the first few years of the books being out, they made them into books, that says something does it not? Harry Potter will live on forever and the movies will get remade in time and its like everything else in life, it leaves and comes back.

You obviously have not read the last several books. JK Rowling is far from rambling. It is all new ideas and material. Besides, you should never judge Harry Potter just by the first few books, they are written in a different style, more for kids. Bottom line is...Harry Potter is a classic and JK Rowling is a genious.

7 years at Hogwarts = 7 Books. It has always been designed as a seven part series that is what it takes to get through the whole story, as envisioned by J.K. Rowling, of Harry coming of age and defeating Voldemort.
