Anyone had any personal experience with Sylvia Browne, the psychic? Is she for real, or a fraud?

Just curious if anyone has had or knows anyone who has had any personal experience (such as a reading, etc.) with Sylvia Browne.

One of the latest articles on the S.S.B. site is an interview with an ex-husband Gary Dufresne, who was married to Browne from April of 1959 until some time in 1972. He agreed to be interviewed after reading about Shawn Hornbeck being found and not dead. If you are on the fence about this woman, this is a must read article.

This sounds like bull crap. But I do know someone that had a reading from her and paid the big bucks for it.
Sylvia claimed from the beginning of the convo that only 68% of psychics are correct. From what I have read of the statistics this is about accurate. Emotions and what psychics are going thru at the time are always involved, in other words they are human.
As found from the reading, the woman that asked her "how's my health?" The woman that asked was a very healthy,
Sylvia said to check her breast. (yes it could be random), but the woman did, found a lump it was cancer, had breast removed. Is fine, tho not cleared, this was 2 years ago.
Woman asked, Where is my son.? woman hadn't seen son in over 10 years, was estranged.
Sylvia answered, Your son will hold up a WAWA in Atlantic City in about 2 months,
It happened.
That's all I know. And I take the statistics as what they are. I was told I would have 6 kids, I have 2,
I was told my sisters murderer would be brought to justice, it was in 1980. Hasn't happened.

need i say more???????????? Has nothing to do with her abilities, just that she, like so may others have used them for the wrong purposes.
**Chain, while I give my personal opinion, I can't for the life of me imagine why somebody who was married to someone so long would be so quick to badmouth them.. That is not right! To badmouth someone you loved and married??? All is not kosher there. !!!DO NOT put the woman down unless you yourself have personal experience and/or knowledge of her, or you yourself are better!!! Nor should you be quoting websites out your *** without knowing what you're talking about like so many others on this site. Unless you know what you're talking about, or have first-hand personal knowledge, who are you to try to lessen someone's reputation??

I love Syliva Browne!!! She is such a good person!! I have most of her books. She is very religous and spiritual! I believe every word that comes from her!

Everyone has their own opinions, but for example she said that shawn hornbeck was dead.. later they found him alive. Thats suspicious, right? Well everyone has thier own opinion but in my eyes she uses her intellegence and people's needs to make cash.. but thats just me

she is NOT what or who you see on tv.....
she tells people all this stuff on montel.....BUT IT IS NEVER VERIFIED...
she started her own church to get #$$$$$$$$$ etc.
dont waste your time....or money on her.
