Dumb, absolutely. I don't really want to tell anyone about it, but hey, were all good mates here. And I'm such a blabbermouth anyway - you'd be sure to find out eventually!
I'm an amputee and have been for what seems like my whole life.
Just last week I awoke through the night to go ......................well, you don't need those type of details but you get my meaning.
I actually forgot I was without-limb and took a step.
Flat on my butt!
How dumb is that?
In my defence of stupidity I had pulled a long stint on Answers and was soooo tired.
I bet Yahoo has never been accused of this before.
What are my chances of a law suit do you think?
AND if you choose this as best answer, I will NEVER forgive you.

Yes, I cut my hand open carving a pumpkin, but I didn't have a choice in telling people, since my hand was in a cast (I am a legal assistant and I do type), and I had to have surgery twice. I cut it down to the bone, but thankfully I had a great doctor - and I can still type approximately 125 wpm.

I used to be a cutter. I used the most random stuff, like never knives...because I would have to explain why I had a knife in my room...so one time, ugh *rolls eyes embarassed like* you know those things you push back your cuticles with that come in the fake nail kits? Well, I used one of those on my wrists and it didn't work so well so I found a tape dispencer that had the metal thing for when you want the tape to get cut, and I cut my legs all up with it...and I still have (seratted) scars on my legs from it...
