The worst mistake I ever made was marrying the wrong man, but the best mistake I ever made was having two boys with the same man. I learned to be comfortable on my own before getting involved in another relationship.

I tried to commit suicide. The biggest mistake I ever made. It changed everything about who I am. I learned how much my family would really be hurting if I had succeeded, It hurt them something awful that I had tried. I learned who my real friends and family were. I learned real friends and family are the important things in life. I'm not afraid of dying anymore, but I am afraid of not getting to live, if you follow that. I would hate to miss out on all the things that my kids do, and the amazing people they are becoming. I would have totally missed out on my husband altogether. I learned you just don't know what you might miss if you give up on life. I learned.

Getting married at 20. It changed a lot of things. Best part was getting my daughter out of it. Worst part was putting up with husband for 7 years.

28 years ago I turned down the job as personal assistant to the man sent to Tampa to start up a wireless phone company. A big one. Since then I have learned to accept interesting jobs in spite of creepy prospective bosses.

When I bought my first car, jobs, and apartment...alot of folks were hanging out, and trying to get rides everywhere....drinking , smoking reefer, and hooking up with chicks seemed to be the focus there...I took a few days off here and there, spent alot of money foolishly, made alot of hasty decisions...before I knew it, I was collecting unemployment, the car was wrecked, and my roommate turned out to be a butthead....I lost focus on my art, college, and even my own sense of self...I could have really gone farther in life..but now my head is in the game...I got a good job with benefits...and money in the bank...I learned to chose my friends wisely...I have very few.

The worst mistake would be being WAY too crazy as a teen... I had no respect for myself and did learn from it.
