Why answer questions you think are;
a- pointless
b- a waste of your time
If it's such a waste of your time then WHY waste it answering, i mean, your precious time is just gone by the time you finish typing your critisisingly pathetic answer, and i wouldn't like to think that i was wasting your time, OHHH no!
And to all the great people here who this does not apply to, i just want to say, i love you!

I don't mind answering any question on here, I don't see it as wasting my time, just getting 2 extra points, I agree that if people consider answering a question a waste of time they don't need to answer it.

Statistically speaking...I don't answer a large portion of the questions I see. I probably read a couple hundred or more on a day when I'm on here a lot....but might answer only a few dozen. So...I guess what I'm trying to say is I DON'T answer questions that are...in my opinion, pointless or stupid !!

When I click on a question that has an interesting lead in to a dumb question I'm gonna at least get two points for my time and effort!

To get points I think - or maybe because they just like answering! There are certain questions I can't answer - so I like the ones like this one that I can answer!

I think it's because they earn 2 points regardless of whether it's a constructive answer or not.
