OK. This is a question about my "cousin". I don't want to be blunt so I'm using that term. I hope you know what I mean. OK, my "cousin" has been here for about 4 weeks now. It's not like a regular "cousin" though. It is extremely light. I could go a week with just one leak guard. I am scared though because that is a long time. What should I do? If you think you know what I mean please answer! Give it your best shot. What is your opinion? Oh I think I should add that I just got my "cousin" in August.

Well i've never heard cousin or aunt used.. but whatever i know what your talking about...

If it's been coming for 4 wks already, you should definately go to see your doctor and since your not sexually active i wouldn't worry about it... just go see your doctor, you might be getting all worked up for something that is perfectly normal.. you never know til you go get urself checked out!

Take care.

Wow i would hate to go to a male doctor especially if he went to my church and i new him and had to see him all the time but anyway you seriously have a problem and i dont see how you have a choice. being emabarresed for a few minutes is prollly worth your health oh btw its really ok to call is a period everybody above the age of 10 male and female knows what it is so dont be embarrared about that either

PS. you said you want to make friends on here well email me at iamblonde76@yahoo.com i wont give out my name ot anything but hey we can talk

Sweetie, it's okay to call it your period...really. ☺

As for having it 4 wks that's likely because you aren't regular yet, but do be careful. Too much flow for too long can be a problem (anemia among other things).

Don't be shy about going to the doctor because he's a man...your health is more important than a little embarassment. He's professionally trained to deal with all kinds of health problems, including "female" issues.

Take care of you!

If your on birth control then your having break threw bleeding.

But if your not, then something maybe going on. Even though you just recently got your visitor, you should not be spotting this long which tells me you may have a hormonal imbalance. I would suggest you seeing a doctor or at least talking with one.
