Obviously humans are better at doing human things, but so far we haven't lasted nearly as long as the dinosaurs did. There are not as many of us as there are of many animals such as ants. We cannot fly as freely as a bird or a bee.
We have apparently invented great weapons which could destroy human life.
We are better at being human, but are humans better than other animals?

Guess it depends on your definition of "better". The animal kingdom cares not for the disabled. There is no safety net. The young and sick are frequent targets of predators. The herd doesn't stop and think, hey, we should go help that lad from the alligator's clutches. Instead, they run. In the face of starvation, animals will often eat or kill their young to prevent over population.

In some regards, the human race is better as we have the capacity to help our fellow man regardless of deficiencies. On the other hand, in terms of evolution, we've allowed for the strongest and smartest to not be the only ones to survive, which may be to our detriment. Additionally, we do not universally take care of those less fortunate, so maybe that makes us worse than animals for not utilizing our full capabilities.

All I know is the animal kingdom is pretty harsh.

Better > No way! Animals other than man live with nature we try to go against it even when we know better!
We were given the power of reason and the ability to record life but we carry on destroying the only home we have
We kill on a scale no animal would and even though history proves warfare solves nothing we carry on doing it!

We should be the keepers of the planet, but sadly we are the parasites and the 'Creators' biggest mistake!

purely remember Human is an clever animal. If he's animal then elementary the thank you to assert that he's greater than different animals? He have some great powers than different animals yet he's doubtless one among the animals. each and every creature is sufficiently massive in this ideal worldwide as equivalent as human.

Define "better." Without knowing your definition of "better," this question is virtually impossible to answer. I, for one, would not define "better" based on population. How does there being more ants in the world make them "better" than us? The dinosaurs are not a very good marker, either. So they lived longer than we did. We do not currently know the total length of existence for mankind, because we are not done yet.

It is true that man can also destroy human life, but that is a part of the animal world, too. Tigers kill deer, who live most of their lives in fear. Crocodiles eat zebras, who live most of their life in fear. Snakes eat mice, who live most of their lives in fear. Without domestication, those fuzzy little cats and dogs your neighbor owns become murdering hunters or desperate prey to other animals. When it is sunny and beautiful outside, the animals live there... but they are also subject to freezing cold and scorching heat. They have little control over their environment. They live in a world of pure survival... and little else.

So how are animals better than humans? You do not provide an adequate definition of "better," but I'll give mine. Humans are better than animals because we have the capacity to love, think, enjoy, and create civilization. We can eat ice cream. We can make love (which is different than procreation). We can read. We can build amusement parks. We can create and appreciate art. We can give a gift for no reason. We can create shelters that provide comfort, as well as protection. The element of death is still present, but that is just a part of nature. Everything that animals have, we have, too. What we have that the animals do not, however, is unique to only us. That is why we are "better."

Humans are no better than animals. God created each animal with its own individual special trait. ours was just that we are better thinkers and we have bigger brains. i personally think the only way humans aren't extinct is because we have thumbs and can balance on two feet. think about how much stuff we do on a daily bases that we couldnt do if we didnt have thumbs.

although it is true we have not lasted nearly as long as many species, we are the single known specias to ever have a global effect on the planet. it depends wat ur definition of a better animal is, but it could easily be said that we are the most INFLUENTIAL species
