How to solve social problems in america?

I have this sociology project to do and we have to observe a social problem and a suggest solution for it(i.e teen pregnancy). I need some ideas for solving different social problems.

You should rent teh movie "Pay it Forward". Its about the greatest social experiment ever and how it comes to fruition. I don't think anyone has the answers for real. The toughest thing is with so much diversity in cultures and economics, its almost impossible to solve the world's social ills.
