I love it because Bill Cosby can be hilarious without being vulgar.

I LOVE it. It's one of the few shows of it's time which depicted African Americans in a nuclear family and living above poverty level. The show is full of family values and diversity was a huge part of casting unlike many television shows.
I love it because all people could relate to the issues presented on the show. It may have been an eye opener for the people who had no experiences around African Americans. Hopefully certain stereotypes were forgotten and people saw that we are ALL more alike than different.

Great show. I don't analyze it like, oh a non-poor black family on TV, good concept. Nah, it was just a good, funny show.
Except it got alot worse when they introduced Raven Symone. I think that's when they jumped the shark. They knew they needed another young kid with all the rest growing up.
And once Cousin Pam moved in, it was over

if you talkin about the old shows I love it!!! the new ones, not so much! Where they are older and the kids changed, The new show isn't on anymore I don't think.
