I have tried several at home microderma kits. Some worked better then others. Some had quick results, others had slower, but longer lasting effects. Some were well worth the money, others proved to be a waste. My overall opinion is that you shouldn't buy a product based on other people's experiences, because even if everybody else loves a certain product, it might not work for you, and by that I mean it might not be effective or might cause adverse reactions, like breakouts and irritations.
The best thing to do is try to obtain samples of the product you want to try (gifts in shops or free online samples), try it for a few days and see what happens. If you like the way it works, then you can invest your money in it.
Most people using at-home microdermabrasion kits like Neutrogena, L'Oreal, Dermanew or Youthfull Essence. They all have good money value and you can start your personal testing with them.
Hope this helps.

I started using a new one since 1st February.
It's Modern Friction from Origins.
Please don't shriek at the price.
It's £27.50 but it does wonders.
Fantastic product.
Use twice weekly.
Alternatively, you could book a facial at their shop.
There's a £10.00 booking fee but it's redeemable
afterwards towards any products you care to try out.
It's part of their promotion.
You might want to consider this.
