Ok, so my best friend has this idea in her head that I think I'm better than her and everyone else and that I'm perfect. I don't so then she starts ignoring me and talking anbout me behind my back. So, I do the same. I'm having a party soon and she was invited. Then a few days ago one of our other friends asks me if I'm still inviting the friend that is mad at me to my party. So I say maybe and the friend I'm talking to says I shouldn't so I say maybe I won't then, The friend I was talking to tells the friend thaT WAS MAD AT ME that I'm not even considering inviting her to the party anymore. And at this point the friend that was mad at me isn't mad at me anymore and now she is again! How am I suppoesed to say sorry to a friend that thinks I think that I'm better than her and hate her and she won't listen to my reasoning? Please help me the party is in a few days!

First of all Laura, the other supposed friend started the drama all over again for whatever reason possibly out of jealously. Call the friend you originally had issues with immediately and tell her what really happened and that you want to put all the stuff behind you and move on. Tell her you would be delighted to have her come to your party. Oh and the "friend" who restarted the problem needs a good talking to and possibly a good lettin alone...IMO!

Best friends would not act like this..........Best friends don't talk behind your back about you. Maybe its time you re-think who your friends really are. Sometimes the truth hurts but its easier to learn now than be stabbed in the back later. By the way your true best friend will be the one you marry.

Let her know that you are serious and either 1. go to her house at a time you know she may be home and possibly alone. 2. Call: which i dont know how old you are but not always recommended but it may work. And just tell her how you really feel
Good Luck

you tell her you are not mad at her and you do not want to lose her as a friend over something very stupid. and talk about some qualities that she has that are better than you.

Just tell her that you guys need to sit down and talk about it without other people butting in. Don't let her insecurities ruin a good friendship =)

Wow..memories of high school..it's amazing that after all that, mostly likely you'll never talk to that person ever again once you graduate...
