Honestly, neither. The group that is the worst for the nation is the rational, moderates (on either side) who allow their far right or far left counterparts a platform to spew their garbage. The silent, moderate majority must stand up and take America back from the extremes. We need people who can disagree, discuss, and then compromise rather than shout hatred at each other.

46 out of 48 Senate Democrats, including all eight of the aforementioned wealthy party members, voted against sending rebate checks of $400 to taxpayers as a result of a retroactive increase in the child tax credit. They also voted against expanding the 10% tax bracket, which also happens to be the lowest tax bracket, from $12,000 to $14,000. Combined, these two components alone will save a working family of four $900 a year. If Democrats had their way, that same family would save $0.

Both are bad, but left wing liberals don't really go around killing people. Liberals waste money, republicans waste resources and human lives. You tell me which one is worse? Personally, I'd rather lose my money than all my food, clean water or my life.

Odd question, since the facts show that the liberals are for the most part, far RICHER than the "republican war mongers."
Obviously the lefties are FAR worse, as they surrender and seek to appease those who would kill every able bodied man and make all women second class HALF-citizens.
The republicans have proven themselves no better by caving in to the fad belief of the day.

I'm proud to say I am a "liberal". It's a dirty word, but look up the definition in the dictionary. I came from that ultra-right wing, religious, holier-than-thou, mean-spirited family. They weren't exactly rich, but thought that capitalism would save the world. And they got up on the backs of women and blacks. Sorry, but U.S. capitalism is just "greed is good".

Extremism of any kind is bad. What is happening now is just unreasoning hate that precludes any chance of progress. Both the extreme right and the extreme left have lost any claim to rationality and just spew ideological hatred.
