Yes you have got a poing there. Why does they all lie for ? Well most of em anyways. All that food and lots of drink ( you don`t think it had owt to do with lots of drink and your daughter only being two do you...? No...? Like you said that`s not the poing is it ?Oh well just a thought. )You told all family and friends and only 3 turned up.....hmmm let`s think now...you phoned your family and there said that there were on they way but there never did... Did they actually say WHERE they were on their way TO ? Obviously not your house......So that`s why you said does most people lie for and you are never going to do a party it not far on your children....Hmmm..just how far was this party ? Maybe it was TOO far and there STILL on there way - did you think of that ? There might not be there yet ? BUT -there is one good poing isn`t they ? You only had to share all the lots of food and lots of drink between 3 of you ? Not forgetting your 2 year old of course......These 3 that did turn up - there weren`t drunk were there - or are there by any chance drunk now...? Are you drunk now...? I`m just thinking about all that lots of drink - you know ? I don`t think most people do lie for actually - seems to be just your family and friends - do you think...? Anyway happy birthday. I mean happy birthday to your daughter - not you - it`s that all that lots of drink thing again confusing me.......

That is appalling! Absolutely appalling.
I can understand how disappointed you feel.
When your daughter is older you can have childrens parties and have some fun for her.
May be next year you could take her some where special for her instead like a ball park or some other childrens place!
And leave the family out of it! That way you won't waste money or be fretting about them coming.

oh that's really sad....it's one thing if friends didn't turn up but family..that's really sad....i feel for her....i would be there now having it out with them, seriously...that is not fair on your daughter...she may be only 2 but she should have had her family around her, did they get her a card or a present? i hope they did....maybe they didn't turn up so they could get away with buying her something.... sorry her day was spoiled...some people are just inconsiderate and heartless and only think of themselves, family are the worst for it....but i would still be wanting to know why they lied and i would not give in till i found out....they should have made the effort, even for half an hour, they should have been there....sorry you had a bad day...x

People can really be such jerks...and I know how you feel. All of the money and not to mention who excited the child was about the whole party thing. Tell them that they were wrong for that and they may have hurt your childs feelings. They should have already known if they were coming or not, and that it wasn't fair to you or ur child.

my mother always told me "your family will screw you over quicker than anyone else" well she is very true about that comment because she passed away on april 2000 and since then my siblings of 4 girls and 4 boys i am one of the girls has completely split apart due to lies and deception.......you would really be surprised to see actually how family really who dont care about others feelings treat them....i really and truely thought my family was close but then things went to hell and back......but i just keep my head up high and try to pray for them that God would convict their hearts on how they do other people.........the golden rule "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is not so bad if everyone did their part.....good luck with your family....kids are very special and mine has not got their granny anymore and the other granny lives over 800 miles away and it really hurts when the kids have a birthday and family ditches them for something else......hope you child had a wonderful fun filled and very happy birthday and many more loved fun filled birthdays to come and you can make sure her or his day is very special......good luck

Wow, let's do a grammar check next time. I don't know why people lie, but I hate it. I guess they're too scared to say the truth.

Maybe they were confused as to the location of the party due to your horrible grammar?

They obviously do not think as much of you and your little girl as they should.I think that it is very sad and you should have a word with them.
