I'm guessing he would have looked like a first century jewish carpenter. so nothing like any of the pictures painted of him.

We don't. Pictures of Jesus are often one person's interpretation of him. You should have your own opinion. However the majority of his pictures show dark hair and dark eyes, mainly because of the area he was born and lived in at the time.

In the Bible, it describes him as having hair like wool and he wasn't handsome... But people want him to look like a god...
Just look at the Israelis, but picture him, not so handsome.

We don't which is why as a Christian, I refuse to have any images that are supposed to represent Christ in my home, it smacks of idolatory to me.
