The biggest endevour i got involved with was trying to have legislation adopted and passed for the Small Business Health Plan Initiative i spent several thousands of dollars of my own money and several hundreds of hours to campaign for this, only to get kicked square in the teeth. Oh well. Some things you learn the hard way. It would be truly nice to be able to offer health insurance at a reasonable rate to my employees. Instead(as usual, small business takes it in the rear.) We need to just go back to our "Constitutional Representative Republic". Things would definitely change for the better ppl.

You do know about the study a few months back showing cons give much more to charity than libs right?? I don't have a link but I'm sure you can find it if you jsut poke around a little bit...like you will do that...lol

I have sponsored a child in Mexico. We contribute to child welfare. We donate blood. I am a conservative, my wife is a liberal (surprise) and alot of times I am the one making sure we have contributed/donated. True story, and I wouldn't expect otherwise.

Yes, as I've stated before 90% of the unpaid volunteers at a shelter I volunteered at were conservative while most of the paid people were liberal.

No I dont agree with this at all if you knew what true conservatives believed in then you would know most of them would give you the shirt off their back and speak less then liberals
