Don't complain. Get revenge. I hope you're open to a creative idea. Here's an unexpected solution. Look at this car:
*
http://phoenixmotorcars.com/models/fleet.html
*
The Phoenix electric pickup truck - this completely gas-free vehicle, using new, advanced Altairnano batteries - can:

-Travel up to 250 miles per charge
-Carry 5 passengers plus cargo at 95mph.
-Charges batteries in as little as TEN MINUTES.
-Has batteries that last 250,000 miles (never need replacement.)
*
It is being manufactured right now for fleet customers like PG&E. If sales go well, it will be made available to individuals next year. Cost is $45,000 for hand-built cars, and this cost will fall considerably when factory production becomes feasible.
*
The electricity cost to drive an EV is only 1 to 2 cents per mile. I know this because I drive an electric car. Keep an eye on the Phoenix. And if you want to 'get your feet wet' in an EV without spending lots of money, it's possible to get an EV for as little as $5000. Here's a link:

Then you can SMILE as you drive past gas stations (like I do.)

Then you could pick up the phone and mewl to your elected representative that you have to pay "ridiculous" gas prices while there are 170,000 americans getting shot at everyday to protect your right to whine as a self-pitying crybaby.

Sigh...not all of us liberals think high gas prices are a big deal!

Usually, just myself. What's complaining going to do? Bush doesn't have to pay for gas himself, so what does he care how high the prices are?

Complain to ole' Luther. Luther will listen to anyone, anytime day or night, especially if it's feedin' time...he might be just an ole' rogue cat, but he's still got a good set of ears...

His price structure:

Complainers: $10.00 per complaint.
Cronic Complainers: 15 bucks per complaint.
Idiots:25 bucks per complaint.
Environmental Waco's: 50 bucks per complaint.
Liberals: 100 bucks per complaint...When do you want your session with ole' Luther?

LIberals don't complain about high gas prices. Liberals drive hybrids and ride their bikes.

If you want to complain to one person, that would be Bush. No, not George Bush, Jeb Bush. Jeb Bush convinced his brother to not fight to allow more drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

Now, would more drilling amount to more than $1/bbl? NO.

It's called supply and demand.

I really don't care about the gas prices. Only liberals complain about it because they need the fuel to support their anti-American fire.

Nothing to complain about when you understand basic economics. Supply and demand principle is in effect.

Whoever cut off the supply and those dummies who are making cars and other products that increase demand, combined with those who drive their gas guzzling SUV everywhere.
