I think he is the best. I am curious as to how everybody else feels?

I would argue that he's the second best behind the Hooded One.

He has two Super Bowls, and Denver has always been competitve year in and year out during his tenure. Anyone who can guide Jake the Mistake to an AFC Championship game is doing something special.

They produce 1000 yard backs, and a top offense every year.

I think he's done a lot without Elway, given their cap constraints. I think he's going to be very happy with Jay Cutler, and Denver will have a shot at another title.

Where he is "hit and miss" is in player personnel decisions. He'll hit a home run on Clinton Portis, or Al Wilson, and tank with Marcus Nash or Ashley Lelie.

I agree he is awsome. I think it goes 1) Joe Sakic 2) Patrick Roy 3) John Elway 4) Peter Forsberg 5) Mike Shanahan 6) maybe jesus?,,

I think he is a great coach. Just think how many great players prosper under him. Portis, Tatum Bell, Mike Bell, Mike Anderson, Reuben Droughns, Rod Smith, John Elway, Champ Bailey, and soon to be Travis Henry and Jay Cutler. And won some rings.

Uh...good...but not the best...Bill Belichick is the best...Shanahan is the one who finally took Elway to the Super Bowl and won...twice...and actually, with Elway started the current AFC dominance in the Super Bowl...

It all depends on how you define what a good coach is. Personally I measure their greatness by how many playoff, super bowls, big game victories they have. If you can take a team, or several teams for that matter, to the super bowl on a consistent basis, you are a great coach.

I don't know if I'd say he is the best, but I would definitely say he is 1 of the best. He guided the Broncos to their first two rings, he produces 1,000 yd running backs consistently, no matter their style, Denver is considered to be a SB contender yearly. Not too shabby! GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!

He has actually done a pretty good job, when you consider the revolving door of talent that passes in Denver. I give him one more year before they make a serious run at the Super bowl.

He's incredible. He's "The Mastermind". He can consistently take the Broncos to the playoffs. (not last year, but any team struggles when switching to a rookie quarterback halfway through the season.)

His record speaks for itself. He has to be considered one of the best head coaches in the league.
