Are there any people annoyed by the current Sonic fandom?

I use to be a big fan myself, but I'm bored and annoyed by all these fan and especially the one who draw themselves as girlfriends of male characters*ie Tails*

It may be annoying, but it's kind of unavoidable in today's day and age. I personally attribute the new set of fans to Sonic X and the Sonic the Hedgehog Archie comic book. Seriously....have your read any of the comic book? There is an UNBELIEVABLE amount of drama. Sonic has had a ton of girlfriends and Tails has had a few crushes. Knuckles has a girlfriend. ALL the characters are involved with someone. That kind of social interaction in a widely read media is bound to produce some people who want to insert themselves in that world.

Unfortunately, I too have my own character that I insert in the Sonic world. *huge blush* I don't draw her and I haven't written fanfics about her or anything, but it's nice when you can relate to a world that you love. I've had that character since I played the first Sonic games and watched the original Sonic TV shows when I was seven years old, so there you go.

As far as furries go, I don't think drawing a girlfriend character for one of the characters is really bad unless they are depicted having sex. *SHUDDER* That's where I draw the line. EEEEEEEWWWWWWWW.

YES. You call those people otakus, japanophiles, furry lovers, etc. The Sonic franchise has been conquered by these types of people, so there is no way in hell there is ever gonna be a good sonic game ever again. Unless someone makes their own sonic game.

There's a term for this, it's called 'roleplaying'. Girls are usually more involved if it involve a social relationship, though girls tend to use existing stuff and not creating new stuff.



As for getting upset over the current Sonic fandom.

That's what happen if there are too many girls around.
