Usually, synthetic fibers don't take dye well. If it's silk, linen or wool it will dye well. Those are all natural fibers. Once in a while you'll find a dry cleaners who will dye things, but it's rare. If you're willing to experiment you could attempt it yourself, but don't go the Ritz dye route. There are very good dyes out there. You can order them online and sometimes find them in good fiber stores. like yarn stores that also sell weaving supplies.
