No doubt about it...Joe Torre has coached the New York Yankees for a while now and has shown success with them even if they choked the past couple of years but it wasn't his fault, that was the players' fault. Now if Willie Randolph manages the Mets forever look for him to be a Hall of Famer!

of corse he should. the man has so many championships (world series and league champs) he cant get all the rings on his fingers. dont say he wouldnt be winning all the championships without the players. look at bobby cox and all the great clubs he had over the years. what does he have to show for it?? many, many league crowns, and 1 world series. you can have all the talent in the world and still fail if you cant coach. his clubs have beaten some amazing clubs en route to his astounding record. the hall without torree after his carear is over, is like the hall without pete rose. And that is another topic.

Absolutely he is the best coach in the 90's and 2000's. He won more games than any other manager during those years, and has all those World Series. He took average teams and made them Champions, there is no doubt in my mind he will be a HOF'er.

No dropping the WBC won't tarnish Joe Torre's MLB HOF possibilities. His MLB managerial checklist is thoroughly separate, and that i might doubt any WBC consequence may be somewhat of any gamers/managers resume for the corridor. team usa's loss interior the WBC replaced into disappointing yet you may desire to understand that the different international places communities have performed greater jointly; and team usa isn't featuring all the authentic skills we've as diverse communities won't enable their gamers to compete. fairly beginning pitchers, in the different case team usa might have had Justin Verlander, Clayton Kershaw and CC Sabathia interior the mixture to boot.
