Let's see they're in the AFC West with the Broncos, Chargers, and Chiefs. If we were on PTI playing the percentages game I would say 15%. It's not much of a chance but a slight possibility. I could see them as a wild card. I definitely don't think they will win the division because that looks to be the Broncos for the taking. I don't think the Chargers will be that good this season they lost the coordinators and Donnie Edwards but I digress. If the Raiders draft JaMarcus Russell like I think they will he can move enough during the games to not be affected by the offensive line issues. We already know the defensive side of the game gave them the two wins they had this season.

With only additions to the offence and none on the offensive line, they will not make it to the playoffs. They might get lucky and win 3 games this year, again getting the #1 draft pick. They should understand, the best thing to do when the QB is not the answer is to trade down and get more picks for the #1 pick. That way they could get a couple lineman instead of Russel. Look at the #1 QB's who have failed to produce. Tim Couch, David Carr, Bobby Garrett, Angelo Bertelli, Frank Dancewicz, Harry Gilmer, Randy Duncan, and Terry Baker. San Diego traded Eli Manning and Baltimore traded John Elway. Just use smart picks.

I couldnt hold my tongue.... Are you serious right now? lol raiders suck ***. One player is not gonna change there whole team. Yes the Saints were in the dirt and became one of the best. But if you think that was because of reggie bush your silly. Reggie contributed yes. Dont forget about Drew Brees, Colston, and the Duece. Raiders will get a quarterback and a washed up Warren Sapp. Moss is going elsewere so Porter is the only big target the new QB will have thats even decent. So the answer is theres no way in hell the raiders will even make the wildcard. *No Offence Intended*

They Raiders don't stand a chance of even winning an AFC West game let alone making it to the playoffs. They'll be a 4 or 5 win team and taking the first or second pick in next years draft. GO CHIEFS!!!!

heres the deal the oakys have a very very talented defense.it all depends on there draft picks. J-mar or quinn either guy is a good fit when you have randy moss running down field with aQB that can through the ball more than 30-45 feet you can hav randy breaking free long routes and getting good passes.but with a monster like J-mar he could play LB for god sake. he'll make OL think twice about trying to deck him. i give the raiders a 64% chance to make the playoffs. and to claury r or whatever your name is about youve never seen a number one draft pick lead there team to the playoffs last year VINCE YOUNG titans 8-8 if it wasnt for the patts they would hav made playoffs. who cares go patttts

Alot of people seem like they are gonna hate me but I think they have a shot! They have a good defense, they have offensive problems they can resolve, and they have good players on both sides of the ball. The only reason they wouldnt is because Randy doesnt try and they dont get Jamarcus Russel. They still have free agency, but if the Randy realizes hes got a special talent at qb for a rookie and he decides to go hard its trouble for any team! They might just click with their new coach, they might pick up a big name or two, and BOOM they are going to blow up. So it is a shot but a long one!

Eh. Just when the Raiders see the light at the end of the tunnel, the tunnel collapses on them in a very brutal and grotesque way. Besides, as a Lions fan, it's great to see other people that have it just as bad, if not worse than us! =P

It is unlikely, but they will be improved over last two years. It can't get any worse. Hopefuly they will pick up a veteren QB to start the season and have J. Russell take over in the second have like Vince Young did in Tennesee. Although, I believe Vince Young is a far superior QB than Russell.

It all depends on Jamarcus Russel. If he does not preform well, the Raiders will suck for another 5-10 years. They also need Moss to start playing like he used to.

I dont because i never see a QB that is picked at #1 spot and lead them team to the playoffs and never into the super bowl. They need to fix their oline and their WR probelm. They will definetly do better and real come close to games with their improving offense and their good and young defensive squad
