You shouldn't feel pain during sex, you need to talk to your doctor.
It could just be that when you are on top there is pressure on your cervix, I know it hurts me, but I just avoid positions that are uncomfortable. It definitely shouldn't really hurt, get it checked. And remember doctors have heard it all before, and don't get embarassed!

It could be your hymen. The hymen is a thin skin that stretches across the opening of the vagina. There is usually an opening in it to let menstrual flow out of the body.

Some people who feel they are ready to have sex for the first time help themselves or their partners by stretching the hymen open for several weeks before starting intercourse by putting a clean finger into the vagina and gently pushing it from side to side.

Different things can cause pain during intercourse. Sometimes the hymenal opening is not stretched open enough or the woman has a vaginal infection, which needs to be treated. Other times pain indicates that the woman is not yet sexually aroused enough and the vaginal entrance is not lubricated enough for penetration. Having anxiety about sex may also make sex more painful and may be your body's way of telling you "I'm not ready" or "I don't want to have sex with this person."

If women do feel pain, it is important for them to talk to their partners about it and stop having vaginal intercourse until they can enjoy it without pain.

Your cervix could be tilted more forward then back which could result in discomfort and even pain when having sex. You need to try different positions, find what that doesn't cause you pain and stick with it. It is just the way the female body is made, I have the same issues with certain positions try to modify. If the pain persist even with the changing of positions go to your femal Doctor and find out for sure.

Are you nervous when having sex? If yes, that will cause pain (I had that problem when I was 16) all you need to do is relax.
If it's not that, you need to go and see your doctor.
Also, try different angles you should eventually find some that aren't painful.
Don't stress about this, most women have problems like this at some stage.

First of all despite what you might read 1000's of woman have painful sex.

The reason can be due to many things, however the most common other than the size of the penis, is a tilted uterus and the angle at which he is penetrating you. If it is painful on top then try a different position, be creative. Also try not to go as deep most likely he is hitting the cervix head on and that will cause pain. If you are to dry this will cause pain (use a lubricant). If your walls of your vagina are spasming to hard this will cause pain as well (try to relax). I hope this helps some.

It could be that you have a vaginal infection. When a lady has a vaginal infection , it can hurts during sex time. Also it can be that you need some vaginal gel in order to smooth the intercourse. Also if there is sex incompatibility which might means that your partner is too big and you are too tight for normal intercourses without pains. Investigate all that it should help.

There is a condition where the cervix is slightly prolapsed and tilts slightly. Does it feel like his manhood hits off of something? If so then this is what it is..... you can ask your medical nurse to do an internal where she could confirm this...otherwise it may be extra lubrication required. Otherwise i dont really know.

that probably means that his *thing* puts pressure on your cervix and you feel that pressure as pain. I don't know if it does damage, but why don't you tell him to stay on top? It might hurt less...or try a new position ex: from behind (doggy style, its called...lol).

good luck have fun and use a condom ;)

Depends if he's a big boy or not!lol

If he is, then dont worry - just look up some positions on the net which stop it going so deep.
