"The United States ratified the preliminary treaty on April 15, 1783. In the final agreement that was signed in September 1783, the British recognized the independence of the United States. The treaty established generous boundaries for the United States: U.S. territory would extend from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mississippi River in the west, and from the Great Lakes and Canada in the north to the thirty-first parallel in the south".

By the terms of the U.S.-Britain treaty, Britain recognized the independence of the United States with generous boundaries to the Mississippi River but retained Canada. Access to the Newfoundland fisheries was guaranteed to Americans, and navigation of the Mississippi was to be open to both Great Britain and the United States. Creditors of neither country were to be impeded in the collection of their debts, and Congress was to recommend to the states that American Loyalists be treated fairly and their confiscated property restored. (Some of these provisions were to cause later difficulties and disputes.)

In short, the Americans were given unlimited land Westward, but had to respect Canada.

thankfully i bypass to a magnificent church and it preaches the finished gospel. i recognize the Bible properly and that they practice all of it. Even the debatable areas. yet ALOT of church homes do not pontificate all that God teaches and that's particularly unhappy. it is going to likely be even worse for them whilst they get to heaven and answer to God there strikes. God Bless!
