i like soccer so i assume u mean football as in soccer because u'd be retarded to say we don't have a good football (NFL) team. We do have good soccer teams. D.C. United tied Real Madrid and destroyed the Glasgow Celtics. The MLS is on the uprise soo expect big wins next year, also the mls all-star team tied Chealse this year.

I noticed this in the World Cup with Donovan's lackluster performance. Some American football players don't seem to get into the game because they love it; they play for the money. Donovan has had an incredible career while he has been paid for it. When it's time to play for his country, however, he failed to show up ready to play. The way football works in the US, it's hard to blame him. Beginning with youth travel teams, the focus is on making your child believe he is better than everyone else. And with endorsement deals for these teams coming from Adidas and Nike and their ilk, not to mention sleazy team owners who break regulations and spend frivolously to keep their children happy and loyal, the US players are becoming walking billboards and earning an income before they're old enough to vote.

We've got the best football teams in the world, unless you're talkin about soccer, if thats the gay sport you're talkin about then shut up because the only reason we aint good at that is because all our real athletes are playing sports that people actually watch and are fun to play

Whatever man, if you are talking about "pigskin" football, you are dreaming. If you think Donovan is the quarterback that represent the NFL also, you are mistaken dude. Put the allstar team under Brett Favre's leadership. Have them play on the same team for a year. And I would welcome any team anywhere in the universe to challenge them.

the us soccer team isnt that bad. did you see the ecuador game the other day. landon donovan's hat trick looked to be pretty good to me, especiallu against a team that made it to the round of 16 in the world cup. Even though people from other countries deny it, the US produces the best athletes in the world.

Yeah we do, they're called the San Diego Chargers. The rest of the world just plays sissy football, and calls it soccer.
