April 22nd is my first year anniversary. We live in Los Angeles County and got married in Las Vegas. I know time is now running short on planning this, but I want to plan a nice weekend getaway for us. The only thing is we are on a very very tight budget! She is off 4 days (Thur-Monday) in April. Las Vegas is fine, but would be open for other suggestions... She also turned 21 last month and was dissappointed that we could not afford to go the Vegas.... Any other trip suggestions is much appreciated!!

First off I was married on 4.22 myself. Congratulations and get your butt in gear. My first year I thought I would head to the coast and go as the wind blew us. Turned out it was the first great weekend of the year and everything was booked. I spent a fortune on a hotel room.

I would suggest Catalina as a nice place to head that time of year.

You might also take a drive up the coast (book your rooms in advance) and now that she is 21 you can go wine tasting.

Stay at inexpensive but clean places or small rooms at a bed and breakfast.

Your first anniversary is a good time to set the pace of your marriage.

Nothing against Vegas but are you wanting to show her that you have a touch of class or is sin city the way you want to project?

The crossword puzzle must be time ingesting and slightly complicated ... you should do a similar theory with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle. placed your computing gadget skills to artwork! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo photographs seek, reproduction them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to placed on posterboard. Use graph paper, and photographs from magazines in case you're no longer as sturdy on the computing gadget, and it will provide it a selfmade feeling.

How about rent a lake front cabin in Big Bear - easy drive and probably not too expensive - compared to Vegas over the weekend -
