I am a big 49er fan, and I have them going 10-6, 2nd to the Seahwks in their division, and getting a wild card spot. Is that a reasonable prediction?

First they have to come together as a team, honestly i think it's possible that they could be this years redskins.

I actually think the will have a good season either 10-6 or 9-7, but really do think they have a chance to win the division. I don't think the Seahawks are going to be on top of they're game, they are slipping like the panthers did, Alexander’s unhealthy they are losing key players but we'll see. The 49ers team though seems to be coming together Alex smith is looking nice he's getting a better feel for the offense, gore is amazing, Vernon Davis should be healthy and good to go this season. I just hope that we can pick up a play maker at WR in the draft somewhere. On the other side of the ball I Clements should be a big asset, Manny Lawson is extremely talented and hopefully he has a breakout season.

BIG A@@ Niner fan here too!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they do better then that prediction. Look at some of the loses that they had last season....the lost 3-5 of those games by less then a touchdown. I still remember the game against the Rams where they lost by 2points in the last min of the game. If they could work on there defense a bit more and make huge plays to stop the run....they shouldn't have any problems making it to the playoffs. Alex Smith is growing to be a great QB and Frank Gore is a great HB. Expect them to be fighting for that first spot against the Seahawks.

I think that if the 49ers have a shot at your prediction they will need to focus on their offensive line. Come on now give that QB some time out there. I think they will have a finishing record of 7-9. But either way good luck.

They win the division for sure. Seahawks are done winning the West. I think the record of 10-6 is the right prediction. But the niners are going to be turning a lot of heads this season comming thats for sure!!!

I also think 10-6. They were great at the end of last season and with the signings of Nate Clements and Tully Banta Cain, the defense will be much better. Alex Smith is pretty good.

Given the division, they should do better. They are getting some help on Dfense and Alex Smith should have a break out year. All they have to do is keep pace with the Seachickens and they could be playoff bound

Well 10-6 may win the NFC west the 49's have a solid group of young talent and the def. is better so they can win the west for sure.

Haha your prediction is exactly what I thought before reading it. I think they'll go 10-6, get a wild card spot, and lose their first playoff game.
