What's the point of camera phones?

I've had a camera phone for years and the only thing I take a picture of and send is.....you know...my erm..thingy!
Is this all other people send?

Aside from getting photos you would never have time to grab a camera for, I hear it is great for getting clubbed over the head at adult establishments.

no i dont send naked pics of myself but it could come in handy u never know. you could be standing by a shop that is being robbed and as the robber is getting away you could be a good citizen by taking the picture and showing it to the cops or if you were crossing the road and say a car hits you and the driver just drives off you could take a picture of the car and take it to the cops

so you see, a camera phone is not totally useless.

I take all kinds of pictures with mine. I usually forget to bring an actual camera but I never forget my phone.

I have to laugh here, as i have wondered myself, perhaps I am in a giddy mood, but I think it really makes us better detectives (lol) and far better peeping Toms and Thomasinas!!! Well you asked...and do I have one? No. Oh i am laughing, I bet you get a lot of great replies on this one....ultimately I think beyond what I have written, it is marketing and advertising t its best....

Because its small and convenient and you don't usually have a camera on hand at the very moment you need it.
