I tried to work from home and found this site for freelancers and contract work. However, I saw a job that I really like, but the site told me to upgrade my account which is unfair. they also give you a 1099 form for tax purposes. So, is it a scam since I have to upgrade my account before I start work?

i am registered on this site and have been for a few years but i have never ever gotten work. yes they do make you upgrade ur account to get more work, so to speak but i think its not fair either. be careful.

I tried that. NEvery got anything out of it. Everybody wants to make a buck. Try advertising on craigslist.com in your area... its free!

May be they are intending to take you for a ride without any direct commitment of assuring job and its payments to you!!!

yea. it was on a commercial. oh yea, and ppl, we have 2 have heard of it, just just told us about it just now!!! :-)
