Ideas for roadtrip?

I need some ideas for a weekend getaway/roadtrip. I'm from the Northwest- any ideas?

I would suggest heading south. If you are in the Washington State area, California is a nice drive and has lots to offer. You could then cut over to Nevada and stop in Vegas and Reno. You can also cut back over to California (San Diego) or head down to Arizona.

Surf on the net, go to each cities web site, check out their tourist info, most cities have things listed that are either very cheap or free. Have fun
