Why do dumb people think the troops are "defending freedom"??

Face it, the troops are basically the lowest paid mercenaries we have running around in Iraq. They are there doing errands for people, and I use that term loosely, like Dick Cheney and Rex Tillerton (CEO of Exxon-Mobil).

They are dying so rich men can become richer, dont dellude yourselves into thinking anything different.

They ARE defending freedom. The American troops disposed of an evil dictator freeing the Iraqis from years of oppression. Now were are fighting the insurgents many of who are not Iraqi but are Iranian, to prevent the country from falling into complete disarray. It is not about money. The Iraqis are in control of their oil not the US.
