I have some older dogs from age three to age six. Is it possible to teach them to play frisbie? How can I teach my puppy to play frisbie?

There was a saying that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. That was recently disproved on Mythbusters. Go ahead and try.

Yes, but some dogs attention span will not hold. Try placing a spot of peanut butter on the Frisbee, let them lick it off and then throw it. Watch and see which dog will go after it, most dogs that enjoy Frisbee are a herding type dog or a ratter! A lot of the terriers that have a strong kill instinct that like to chase a moving object will play Frisbee. The only time I saw do not encourage this is with a long bodied dog like a Basset or Dachshund.

Yes,old dogs can learn new tricks.....You just have to be patient with them.Sometimes it just takes a little longer to catch on.Buy yourself a book on training your dogs. And research it on Internet. There is a wealth of information on the Internet. Good Luck.

sure you can, it just takes time. and some older dogs just don't care enough to learn since they are older. puppys usally will go after anything you throw, it's getting them to bring it back is the trick. just verbally incourage them to do what you want

probably not... if your dog likes to chase things like balls there is a good chance he will like frisbee too. If he is uninterested chances are he will not learn

you can teach it to catch it easily enough by slowly throwing it
but you can never teach it to throw it
only to bring it to you by rewarding it when it does
