By dance music i mean all the early stuff that was nuts to listen to that was commercially called rave....all the dance albums that come out now all have the same beat all the way through like....bang clap bang clap bang clap and when i hear it i can visualize the local line dancers kicking and clapping to it....some of the early stuff was good and all individual ideas...hearing the stuff thats about now has put me off it

FINALLY!!! Some people who think the same as I do! All there is these days is Cascada, Beatfreaks, Bob Sinclar and other such crimes of music. What ever happened to the old classics!?!

Please dont be put off by the crap thats out now, there is a tv channell called RaptureTv on Sky Digital that plays all the good dance music, heres how to watch it:

1) Press Services on your Sky remote.

2) Press 4 for System Setup, then 4 for Add Channels.

3) Enter the details below:

Frequency: 11.344 (use number buttons)
Polarization: H (use left/right buttons)
Symbol Rate: No need to change
FEC: No need to change

4) Scroll down to Find Channels and press Select.

5) After a couple of seconds a list of channels should appear. Highlight "Rapture TV" and press the Yellow button to store it, then press Select twice and you're done!

Rapture will now be stored - when you want to watch us, just press Services, go to Other Channels and choose Rapture TV. Simple!

You need to get some taste people.you are missing some
of the best underground electronic tunes ever released.
I've been listening to dance music since the start and
its just as good as ever!.Of course cascada are shite,
nothing that you can buy on a ministry of sound comp
is worth listening too.

I cant stand the dance music we get now - its all power ballads done with squeaky voices.

I have some golden oldies on my ipod - paul van dyke - lover for an angel (the one with the woman singing) I have also got a lot of ultra sonic, qfx and ttf (they were the good old days when you danced like a nutter and no one cared - its all about posing these days)

Dudes!! Ye guys are like the only people who feel the same way as me!! All this new dance crap is just like remixing 80's songs and stupid beats. Bring back the late-90's stuff!! Paul Van Dyk etc.!!!

Dance music grew up and got boring, roughly the same time 'Jungle' became 'intelligent drum and bass'.
