when you nip into town to do/get something and the shop is closed for lunch forcing you to go to the pub for a quick pint until the shop reopens.....then before you know it you have to leave almost a full pint of lager behind whilst you run to get to the shop before it closes for the day

No. Mine's a Guinness or heavy. Give the lager a body swerve. Learn to down that almost full pint in the manner of a true Scot - leave nothing in the glass.

Next time go in early at about 10.30am do your shopping and celebrate by having a pint then you won't waste any and you don't have to rush anywhere.
