Windows XP caches the IP of sites so that when you return they will load faster.
To clear this go to start/ run and type
cmd
hit enter
type
ipconfig /flushdns
hit enter.
Click Start - Run, type cmd and hit enter. Now at the prompt type "ipconfig /flushdns" without quotes and hit ENTER.

Also click on Run and type in %temp% and then hit enter.

=> Under the General Tab there is a section for Temporary Internet Files (your cache) => choose delete files

Using internet explorer 7 go to tools, then go to delete, delete all. That should clear all your cache. If you have firefox you go to tools, then clear private Data.

What cache?

Cache is a very general term, and there are LOTs of caches. You'll have to be more specific.

in IE, go into Internet Options or Tools, look for Privacy.

In Firefox, go into Tools, Options and Privacy to set it permanently

If you are running Windows XP (any version or service pack), then go to Start--Programs--Accessories--System Tools (I think)--Clean Disk, and choose your primary drive (if you have more than one primary drives), and go through the process.

TOOLS | INTERNET OPTIONS | GENERAL | BROWSING HISTORY | DELETE.

Delete all temp files and cookies.
