I know it sounds really dumb, but if you are in a private place and no one is looking, then feel free to put them under your armpits. That is one of the places where heat escapes from your body. you can try putting them under ur knees (again...private place only) .

I put them in my pockets if I'm standing, under my thighs if I'm sitting.

my palms would be cold the whole winter n thus i don't feel cold at all
ie. my body is warm except my palms...n since i always wear jeans...i rest my cold palms on my thighs
it takes almost 30 secs to get my palms warm...but man! it feels sooooooooo good
