It's not the builders who're afraid of the 13th floor, the managers/owners of some buildings are, or they believe their customers will be. I think most builders have no trouble with it; they know what floor they're building, the 13th is only skipped once the signs & numbers are affixed to the doors, stairwells and elevator buttons which is in the very last stage of building. Up until then there are no visible numbers at all.

I dont study about the total "financial ruin 11" ingredient yet builders never construct the 13th floor of a construction by way of the indisputable fact that's declared that the 13th floor will be haunted. that is an previous superstition.

Because more people know about 13 being an unlucky number, but i don't think a lot of people know the others. I didn't even know 11 was an unlucky number. Plus, I think an unlucky building would be far worse then an unlucky book. I've never heard of a book collapsing on someone and killing them.

don't know but the builders of this building wasn't scared of 13 since i work on the 13th floor.

It's also strange to walk through hotel hallways and never see a room with the number 13 on it.
Too superstitious I guess.
