There are Universities that will take you. Look at the public schools in your own state, and emphasize any extra curricular activities in the application (like working at a summer camp, volunteering, any cool travel you did, student government, school newspaper, etc)

Yes, I know people who got in with worse grades than that. so go for it.

good luck.

The SAT's aren't looked at as heavily so just make sure you work your hardest. Also colleges look to see if you are in sports or other extra curricular activities. I'm kind of in the same boat as you right now, because my GPA isn't where I'd like it to be but I play hockey soccer and lacrosse so I am busy throughout the year. Also I'm in all honors as well and I have had 5 AP/CIS classes throughout high school and I'm taking 5 more next year. Just keep working hard and keep applying. Good luck!

You can always look at the University of New Haven they have a 78% acceptance rate will take anyone with poor grades. You wont get a good job out of the place unless you are a minority black, latino, woman, asian and so on,
SAT's are not required but they look at them. Their bussiness school is not AACSB accredited. If your a business major you dont need to take calculus. Also, there is no essay that you have to write only a personal statement. Lots of people who have poor grades, sat's and no bread go hear. So if you want to buy a used car and want a education look at this place.

If your GPA is that low, you should not be taking 3AP classes next year. Colleges would much rather see you taking classes that you can perform well in. Seeing a GPA like that will make them think that you don't try hard in class or that you can't properly choose classes that suit your abilities well. Rethink your schedule for senior year, or applying to colleges will be a very painful process for you.

They may be honors classes, but that's not a very good GPA. You may need to go to a Jr. college and put in two years getting good grades to make yourself more attractive to a university.

i graduated with a 2.0, and i wasn't able to get accepted into a university. i had to enroll in an online school. but, each school is different, so your best bet is to try. good luck!!
