Hi guys, just a little question I wanna ask and perhaps its pretty silly one, anyways, the question is that Can I leave my deskjet printer ON all the time as I have 2 printers, 1 is Epson Photo R200 and other is Brother BJC210C. The only thing I am worried that by leaving them ON all the time, wouldn't the INK will dry out quickly as deskjets inks dries quickly if you don't use it. Thanks in advance.

Use your printer's On/OFF button to turn your printer off at the end of each day and leave it off if you're not using it for extended periods. Resist the urge to use a power bar to turn off the printer. Doing so will prevent the printer from "parking" the print head in the protective pad or cap inside the printer. This helps prevent ink from drying and clogging inside the print nozzles.

Newer printer models are "Energy Star Compliant" and automatically park the print head after a sustained period of inactivity

Hi, the ink will dry out if you leave it on or not, but not for quite a while.

I leave mine on all the time and I haven't had a bad experience yet.

It would be safe to leave yours on too unless you want to conserve energy then shut it off it is entirely a matter of personal preference.

Good Luck!

Yes you can leave them on. Eventually the fans will wear out but it won't be for a while. However, I would advise shutting them down and conserving power. Its cheaper that way.
