That is particularly different. I would not call my son Courtney, too feminine for a male.

My son would look at me funny if I called him Courtney as his name is Robert. I don't think I would name my son that, there is an actor on law and order w/that first name.

I've never been a big fan of bi-names. Don't know of a single guy with the name Courtney.

it does seem like a feminine name...but then again, thats only because most of the time it is a name used strictly for girls. it wouldnt seem as abnormal to you if you were used to hearing guys have the name courtney
i would name my son courtney if it was a name i really liked a lot or something

I have a friend and her mom named her Corey and named her twin brother Courtney. That is weired.

I wouldn't call a girl courtney either (yuk!), but this, like a multitude of other names, were once male names, but are now considered to be female (Ashley, Dana, Leslie, Gale, Jody, Jamie, Riley, Rowan, and on, and on, and on).

No I wouldn't actually! I know alot of guys with girl names. Like I always thought Cameron and Stacy, and Jody were girl names, but I know guys with those names!
