allied by a tall/small height husband and a small/high wife? Could the happily married overweight women drop their answers to this question by specifying their own height and the height of their spouses/husbands?

What? Uh, ok..... I am 5'10 and my hubby is 5'11.... I don't get why you think that would help my marriage stay on good terms,lol

So what are you getting at here? What does weight have to do with being happily married?I have been both extremely thin and overweight during my 15 year marriage.And my weight hasn't factored in to any of our happiness or discord.We have been together 17 years and married 15.Because we are a good match.We are best friends and were before we became a couple.We share a lot of the same interest.And we have a great deal of love for each other.None of these have to do with weight.I am not going to tell you exact numbers that is no ones business.But I will tell you this I am a tall well built Sicilian girl married to an average height skinny white boy.He is only around 5'11".

I am plus size and we are very happily married.
I am 5' 1" and I weigh 170lbs. My husband is 6' and weighs 202 all muscle. I don't think height and weight have anything to do with a happy marriage. I think it is all about acceptance, love, trust, communication etc. My husband loves me at my size because that's what he is attracted to....if I gain or lose he will love me because I am me. Why try to figure out why a couple can be happy when one is overweight...it's no different than how a couple can be happy when one has a big nose, or crooked teeth, or is very thin. Happiness is not dependent on those things.

I'm o/w and 5'9". Tall, dark and lean husband is 5'11", and is usually just under 170. To tell the truth, he's usually around 168, but looks best at over 170. He's very muscled from hard physical work, not the gym. We've been married over 17 years, totally happily, love grows stronger, deeper and we have more fun and lust than ever!!!
Am curious to know what sort of correlation you are trying to draw...
Weight has really nothing to do with it, it's being a wonderful woman with intelligence, humour and confidence, who can draw a great man to her!

My husband is 5 or 6 inches shorter than I am. Married 38 years, 5 children...he is more man than many "taller" guys! Love and good relationships are so much more than the physical things of life....look at the high school cheerleader many years later...you'll NEVER pick her out at a 15 year reunion!

People in marrages that are overweight are usualy that way becaue they are comfy in their relationship with their significant other. Sometimes other factors come into the mix like dieses' or the like that can cause someone to stop doing what they had been doing.
Me- 5'9" 215lb, Wife 5'3" 115 --- Medium, and happy.

I am a overweight woman and my future husband does not look at my weight. I am 5'7 and about 315 lbs. My bf says that he loves me for me. He is a medium size man. He says that the beauty of a woman is what is in the inside of her. That is the way I see it also. I hope this helps you

They won't be honest because you preferred to them as overweight and that's their complex.
I thought most overweight woman were married and assumed happy because they carry the load and the man can do what ever as long as she keeps the title wife
So you see the world if full of us scapegoating each other.

I don't see how any of this would affect a relationship. I'm 6' 225 and my sweetheart of a wife is 5'6 135 she is my everything! I love her she loves me and we are about to celebrate 8 years to forever! It would be my sincere prayer for everyone to have what we do!

I am not married but my bf is at least 6' and maybe 150 and I am 5'2'' and weigh "about" 180. He says that he likes me the way I am and loves my curves even if I am overweight.
