...because I took a fresh look at them and decided pumps are frumpy.
Was I right to take this drastic step? Or, am I a fool?

ALY: They were matte leather, in neutral colors, with round toes, and 2-inch covered heels. It's as if you looked in my closet. I had them for when I was teaching.

it depends what type of pump you are talking about. there are frumpy pumps as in- matte leather, round toe, 2 inch heel pump. and then there is hot sexy pump- patent or bright colored leather, pointy toe, 3 inch or high heel. if you threw away any hot sexy pumps you were a fool. if you threw out only the frumpy pumps then I congratulate you. now go out and buy some good pumps.

It was a bit foolish. There are some looks that look great wtih flats and some that require heels. Dresses and flats do not go very well. You just need to have a balance of both flats and pumps.

You have to love how you look in your shoes .. if you don't like how you look in them, then no matter how "in style" they might be, you won't like wearing them.
So go out and get your self some new shoes that you LOVE! (you can do it inexpensively at Payless, Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc)

What I have never herd of anyone wanting to get rid of fabulous shoes what is wrong with you what size do you wear and I will take them from you?

Nope, pumps are bad for your ankles and your back! I personally don't like them. They're impractical and painful.

fool....now you will have to spend tons of money to replace them, cuz you know that they will be back in style as soon as you don't have them anymore!
