first,i call my game football,if someone wants to call it soccer,so be it.but i feel for the lonely souls who think they can compare the two.one is the epitome of humanity itself.the other is a monotonous show of steroid freaks with a countless commercial breaks just so its followers stuff their guts with junk.
to cmpare the two is blasphemous....who agrees with me?

So, your question is irrelevant.
If anyone can sit there and insult my country's sport its because none of you are lucky enough to be a a true American; and to know what its like to appreciate a great game as football!!!

They are both completly opposite sports. One is based on playing with your hands (although called football) with short period of intensive contact, many substitutions and intervals for commercial breaks ... the game is about entertaining the crowd just like old Roman empire with people clashing as to who will hit harder. I like the game but cannot stand the interuption. That being said, football (soccer) is a sports where endurance is key ... i can defy ANY american football player and ask them to run non stop for 90 minutes, play with their feet and tell me how they fell. ties for those who complain is a simple fact that YES two teams can be of same level ... why do we ALWAYS have to have a winner in America? why can't team tie a game and call it quit? that is related to this mentality that you are either the best or a loser ... so pathetic.
As far as boring ... i went to both sports live and i am telling you soccer is a HELL of an ambience (maybe not in the US though) we chant, we cheer (and we don't need cheerleaders) we dance and enjoy every second of the game. At football games we see people drink a lot and all the chanting i have heard so far was D-fense or Touchdown.
There is an intensive rage from the spectator when watching a football game ... it is more subdued when you watch soccer and not because it is boring but simply because it is a game where you admit being the worst of the two teams ... yes nothing wrong with that.

I've been in America for most of my life and I HATE American football. A bunch of guys in bulky uniforms hitting each other is pointless. Football (soccer), however, is a much better sport. I have never seen billions of people unite under one sport like in football. Football is one of the only sports were the fans all come together to watch such a beloved game. American football is just useless.

I agree, but I think that if people who enjoy American football would stop calling soccer a sissy sport and give " Soccer" football a chance, then people who like soccer would give american football a chance.

I agree. I'm an american, and I can't stand american football. I'm a little biased because I played soccer for seven years - but soccer isn't much fun to watch either - much more fun to play.

Running around in tights and grabbing each other, then piling up on top of each other???? I would rather call American Football...Ruleball because there are too many freakin rules. Now, now dont touch the pansy QB because he is fragile, gimme a break.

I Don't like watching american handball. It's way too boring. maybe american handball is fun to play not watching. Football is the greatest sport. Nobody compares American handball with football except for Americans. nobody in the world don't even know what the heck is american handball is. and somebody knows it don't thinks american handball can be compared with football. Nothing can be compared with football. maybe tennis.
reason american try to compare their sport with the greatest sport football is because they wish to make their sport the greatest sport easily. no way....ridiculous.

I'm saying! I'm an American but I hate American "wanna-be" football! People--that isn't football! The real FOOTBALL is the so-called 'soccer'. When i'm at school, I call it FOOTBALL or FOOTY and people look at me weird but hey--it's not my fault they wanted FOOTBALL to be the LAME-O American kind! I totally agree with you! I LOVE FOOTY! i agree. you cant compare the world's sport to america's sport. i like american football but their is no other feeling when you're national team is coming on the field at a world cup game.
