The soft, squishy type of ear plugs that I use are so good that all I can hear is my heart beat. Try those. You wad them up and shove them in your ear and they expand back to their normal size as much as possible, filling in the entire ear canal. You take a chance of not hearing the alarm but who cares.

Get everything available to block out the noise. Then when you wake up from his snoring just wake him up nicely and tell him that he was snoring. Generally it takes some time till he starts snoring hopefully by then you will be long asleep with your ear plugs and you won't really hear him.

i would say you could sleep with head phones on, or the TV on, so that the snoring isnt so obvious. But if thats not in everybody's best interest, or it would be too hard to sleep with that noise.... then maybe you should make him wear those strips that they sell in the stores to open up your nasal passage and ease snoring.

Go to Walmart or a drug store and get the hunters ear plugs. The small foam kind that look like a thimble. Your roll them betweet yr]ou thumb and index finger and then you put them in yuor ear like regual ear plugs, but dont put them in to far. I have used these when I want witha buddy who snored alot. They work ausome! The ones i used had a nylong string connecting them and were kinda shaped like arrow heads.

i feel your pain! Is it possible to get a second room that is adjoining to your parent's room? if not, wear the ear plugs, put a pillow over your head and have some sort of white noise in the background such as a fan or the TV.
