You must complete your undergrad course before you can enroll in grad school. A BS or an AB degree is a prerequisite to admission. In your case, take the Nutrition course for 4 years...and unless you want to, you need not go to grad sch. to become a dietitian. Nutritionists and dietitians are basically one and the same people - they undergo the same academic training and they do the same kinds of work. Oftentimes, the need for the Master's degree becomes crucial to speed up work advancement or if you're staying in the academe (e.g., teaching). Good luck.

Typically, graduate programs require anywhere between 36-45 credit hours. It depends on the program that you are interested in and the program requirements. If it requires 36-45 credit hours, then you are looking at 11/2 to 2 years for graduate study, considering that you go full time (up to 9 credit hours a semester). Speak to the academic advisor at your college/university for more information about your program of interest.

Best Wishes!

You should be able to get a masters in a year by working your tail off and going full time. Maybe an extra 6 months if things don't move quickly. You can get one part time in about 3 years.
