xeny (below) The fear is implied with "think of your family members" as though their safety depends on Bush's lie of a war in Iraq.

having served this country and protected US citizens from things they are not aware of, I know when to fight, and when to leave hornet's nests alone. So did Bush Sr.

$1 trillion spent on illegal aliens is what Democrats want.

DEMOCRATS WANT $10 TRILLION IN DEBT

Democrats want illegal aliens to stay here forever and they welcome any new ones that come across the border. Amnesty will increase the population of the U.S. by 60 to 100 million people since illegal aiens will be able to bring their relatives over.

The minimum estimated cost is over $500 billion. That amount does not include building new freeways, schools, hospitals, sewage plants, roads, subsidized housing, prisons, etc..

"comprehensive immigration reform" = Ted Kennedy's amnesty plan

""The Democratic Party’s values are the values of the Hispanic community,” said DNC Chairman Howard Dean in announcing the summit, "and the Hispanic community is ready for change. Bush Republicans have nothing but desperation to run on, having allowed extremists to derail comprehensive immigration reform." http://releases.usnewswire.com/GetRelease.asp?id=73316 (September 27th, 2006 )

Edit: Reagan gave amnesty to 250,000. The number increased to millions because of so many illegal aliens were using forged documents to get amnesty. Many people from Mexico have similar names. Also, after the amnesty, the crime rate went up and school test scores went down. Currently our government says over 4 million people walk into the U.S. yearly and 1 million are pushed back. Amnesty means 20 million+ people will be able to bring their families and elderly relatives into the U.S.. That will bankrupt social security. Elderly foreigners living in the U.S. are legally entitled to social security even when they never paid money into the system.

When the country is back on track and oil production is at a peak, will the libs drool over the possibility of scandalous social spending with the money that Iraq pays us back.
How insane do you have to be to believe that any republican is actually enjoying the war in Iraq or the cost to this nation. We have children in school, we have parents in nursing home, or who need thier social security, just like you. But we also know that the threat to this country is real, and our continued freedom is not free. We wish that our enemies wouold just sit down at a table and comprimise, but we know that it wont ever be a reality. Chances are there may(I pray it is not) a democrat in office when the Iran situation comes to a head. Because of the costs in dollars and lives, would you suggest that we let them accomplish thier goals of being a nuclear power, when the man that is control of them is a certifiable fanatic that wants you dead. Somoen is going to have to make the tough decisions, I can only hope they have enough character to make that decision and stand behind it as our present leader has done.

My cousins unit just celebrated opening a new school and providing water to a remote village in the anbar province so yes, I guess I will celebrate. But let me guess, you only hear about the death and destruction that takes place in only 3 citeres there now but consider yourself and expert on the entire countries foreigh policy.

Your welcome for the inspiration, now use it for a positive purpose "running for office, thinking of alternatives" rather than posting comments on Yahoo Answers with no purpose other than to bring down everyone else's including soldiers in Iraq's morale.

Actually, looking at your history on Yahoo Answers, you do nothing more than whine and complain. You don't contribute anything positive to anything. Next question.

Thats funny that you refer to him as "tyrant" even though he won the second election with the most votes. Just because you didn't vote for him doesn't make him a "tyrant" thats called a democracy and sometimes it doesn't go your way. too bad. And if you want to refer to public opinion polls, than you mine as well call Abraham Lincoln a tyrant too because he went against popular opinion when he freed the slaves, would you call him a tyrant?

And yes you are right to criticise Bush, its your right as an American. But its not right to criticize someone with lies even if they lie, that makes you no better.

You obviousely have not have been given any concept of economics. lots of that funds grew to become into spent on rebuilding Iraq, and those comanies like haliburton are paid for it, consequently shifting the money back into the U. S. ecnonomy. additionally, below Bush the economic gadget is extra advantageous, there are extra jobs, the GDP is powerful and along with his tax cuts all that funds would be paid back very as we communicate. Penny pinching liberals could particularly be slaughtered than waste a penny.

Yes. Whatever it takes to beat terrorism. What is money compared to our lives? Your sister, your brother, your aunt, your uncle, your father, and your mother. What would you rather see go, a trillion dollars, or your loved ones? The military is out there, defeating Americas enemies, while we sit and type on a computer. Show them some damn respect!

I doubt new convicts celebrate too much, since they just went to prison. Besides, I don't see the democrats making any kind of real effort to stop war spending.
